I've been trying to get back to doing a few still life pieces, but have been so busy doing horses. Still have a few horses to do, but I saw these beautiful sunflowers in the market, and I had to have them. I LOVE sunflowers - the vibrant color - the drama. I had seen this vase in Michael's some time ago, but couldn't justify spending the money on it just to paint....then I found it on sale - ahhh - I love sales!
