Travers Day with the Girls

Sandy, the owner of Sorelle Gallery has a table at the Turf Terrace at the Saratoga Race Track. Travers is the biggest race of the year, and we had girls day at the track. Nancy Matt (second from right), millinery designer of the rich and famous sported her lovely black hat with ostrich feather, and Sandy (left) wore one of her straw hats. Ivy (second from left) wore a vintage find, and mine was just a hat from Boscov's. A fun time was had by all, even if we didn't win any bets. Now it's back to painting. I can't even remember if I did any paintings since my last post - life has been busy. Tommorw, it's back to the easel. Watch for more equine pieces inspired by Saratoga.
